Welcome to Hatteras Island! The Hatteras United Methodist Charge hopes you will join in worship and the building of community as we continue to serve as a beacon of light, hope, and grace to Buxton, Frisco, and Hatteras.

United Methodist Men meet every 3rd Saturday at 8:30 am.
Buxton United Women in Faith meet every 2nd Monday at 11:00 am
Come grow in faith, connect with others, and discover God’s truth with our Sunday School offerings:
Buxton United Methodist Church
- There is an adult Sunday School class that meets immediately following the Sunday service. They are beginning a study in Job.
Hatteras United Methodist Church
- There is a Sunday School for children in Kindergarten through 12th grade that meets every Sunday at 10 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Children are invited to explore their faith in the context of their everyday lives. It includes Bible stories and hands on activities.
- There is a new adult Sunday School class that meets every Sunday at 10 AM in the sanctuary in front of the podium. The class rotates volunteer facilitators/ leaders as we discuss that week’s Lectionary Scriptures. The discussion is lively, meaningful friendly and deeply spiritual. Everyone is welcome to attend.
